As the Event Program Manager for the WOIS Film Festival, I collaborated directly with the Festival Director and provided managerial support.

I was in charge of shaping and maintaining the master film screening schedule as well as the participant database.

The core WOIS team was also tasked with drafting press releases. My press release was selected to be put into press kits.

Check out my press release here!

I also put together a media outreach team to approach media houses personally and planned out the logistics for the outreach program.

I managed the teams in charge of Marketing, Communication and Creative with the support of the Festival Director.

Together, the teams covered the entirety of the WOIS Film Festival as well as the pre-events on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook and even TikTok.

Furthermore, I liaised with prominent external stakeholders like our chief guest, Daniel B George and jurors like Faisal Hashmi and Milena Schwager.

Through the Operations team, we also organized several side-events such as movie nights, workshops and musical performances.

WOIS was an incredible experience and the perfect opportunity to learn team management and project management skills.

Check out some highlights from my experience at WOIS below!
